Exploring Academic Collaboration Opportunities for MA and Ph.D. Programs with NUS

          The Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University (CMU), joined an online meeting with the National University of Singapore (NUS) to discuss potential academic collaboration for Master’s and Ph.D. programs. The meeting also aimed to explore the possible recruitment of qualified students from Chiang Mai University to enroll in the graduate research program (MA and Ph.D.) at the NUS Department of Southeast Asian Studies. In addition, the discussion focused on opportunities for joint research, student exchanges, and scholarship possibilities for Ph.D. studies at NUS. Led by Asst. CMU was represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chanida Suwanprasit, Deputy Dean for Research and International Relations; Asst. Prof. Dr. Phaothai Sin-ampol, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Internationalisation; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amporn Jirattikorn, Lecturer, Department of Social Science and Development; Asst. Prof. Dr. Liwa Pardthaisong, Head of the Department of Geography; Asst. Prof. Dr. Sakda Homhuan, Lecturer, Department of Geography; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Panitda Saiyarod, Lecturer, Department of Sociology and Anthropology.

The discussion also included representatives from Mahidol University International College (MUIC), reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening academic networks and expanding opportunities for students and faculty members.
